Work Mt. Airy

The process to get a day pass was confusing. No one was there so I had to figure everything out myself. Little things, but it all adds up. How do I turn on the lights? Am I allowed to change the thermostat? Things like that. The door lock system was not working. It took me 5 minutes of standing outside in freezing temperatures to open the door with the buggy app because no one was there to let me in. When I left for lunch I'm glad I took all my stuff with me because I was unable to get back in. The app would not work to reopen the door for me. I tried it for 10 minutes out in the cold before I couldn't take it anymore and sat in my car eating my lunch trying to get in contact with the host. The provided phone number sent me straight to voicemail twice, so I left a message and did not hear back (it's been 2 hours now). I also emailed the host, a medium they have previously responded to me on. Haven't heard back from that either. So I decided to give up and just go home. This felt like a waste of time and money, which is sad because despite the loud constant noise from the tenant upstairs the space is setup quite nicely, it has potential. Unfortunately, my experience today almost felt like a scam. Prior to my visit I was hopeful I'd like it enough to rent a desk permanently to get out of the house more, but I don't think I'll be back after this experience.

Not a fan of the digital key process of Salto. The space was great though. Very accommodating. Everyone liked the space we had 2 meetings with around 15 - 20 people.

This is a very nice space to work!

There is a class in there on Saturdays which makes it a difficult place to work but as long as you have head phones you will be okay.
