Welcome to the Capital One Café at Harvard Square!
Our Community Room is a welcoming, free meeting space available to registered nonprofit organizations, alumni associations, and student groups during regular business hours. Please note: Reservations are limited to a maximum of two hours per day. Requests exceeding this limit may require special approval.
The Café itself is a vibrant, collaborative environment where you can grab a great cup of coffee, enjoy free Wi-Fi, and chat with one of our friendly Ambassadors about tools and tips to help you save time and money.
Capital One proudly supports the nonprofit community and recognizes the important role it plays in strengthening society. While we aim to accommodate as many nonprofit groups as possible, Capital One reserves the right to decline reservations. Please note that religious and political groups are not permitted to use the community space.
For health code reasons and to support our on-site food and beverage vendor, outside food is not allowed in the Community Room. We encourage you to support our local café partners during your visit.

Capital One is the best place to study if you're looking for a study cafe in Harvard Square. The employees, baristas and capital one staff, are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. They make an honest effort to get to know the students who frequent the cafe and are always happy to have people reserve the community room for guests. I could not recommend this place more. Whether you're looking for a good cup of coffee or to open a bank account, they're more than happy to help.

A very nice space with everything you need: comfy furniture, power sockets, screen and it also insulates sounds, and you can change AC temperature in the room yourself. The best part of working at the Capital One cafe is the friendly and welcoming hosts! A big thank you to Mei for everything she does, she goes above and beyond ❤️

The staff was absolutely wonderful and helpful, the coffee was great. Make sure to bring your own hdmi cord if you want to use the screen, and note that the room seats five, not eight.

This was such a great find! The room was well equipped with all the required hook ups. The Capital One staff were also very accommodating and kind, despite some of my confusion about the rules. As a tip for those interested -- you must reserve this room 24 hours in advance and have the reservations confirmed BEFORE you arrive.

The staff did not have correct records. A staffer was in the meeting room and they didn't believe I had reserved it. After I found the confirmation email, I waited for 10 min a while they conferred and finally decided that I should have the room. Usually, this has been seamless an an amazing resource. Thank you. Possibly the glitch came because I had rescheduled the reservation from one week to the next. You might want to check the system to make sure you see those changes. Thanks, again, B

The conference room worked very well for our 7-person meeting. With the door closed it was absolutely private and no noise from the rest of the cafe. We would definitely use it again for other meetings.

They are having problems with their projection to a large wall mounted screen/monitor. It is also important to inform users that we need to bring our own HDMI cords for connectivity. We were delayed and challenged each set up time, even though I arrive 30 minutes early each week.
Everyone was very helpful and accommodating, but this really changed the quality of our meeting, especially FAB this time :)

Space was great, reps at the Cafe were amazing. The only complaint was that we could not connect our MacBook to the television. This required our entire group to crowd around another smaller monitor.
