KPT Collaborative Health & Safety Policy
Purpose
To ensure the physical, emotional, and communal well-being of all members, guests, and staff within KPT Collaborative. We believe safety is foundational to belonging—and that clear boundaries create brave spaces.
1. Physical Safety
- All members must comply with posted emergency procedures, including fire exits and evacuation routes.
- First aid kits are available in designated areas. Staff are trained to assist in basic emergencies.
- Electrical outlets, furniture, and equipment must be used as intended. Report any hazards immediately.
- Cleanliness is a shared responsibility. Spills, broken items, or unsafe conditions should be flagged to staff.
2. Health & Wellness
- If you're feeling unwell, we ask that you rest at home. We honor your health and the health of our community.
- Hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes are available throughout the space.
- Air filtration systems are maintained regularly to ensure optimal indoor air quality.
- We encourage respectful distancing and personal boundaries—especially in shared spaces.
3. Emotional Safety
- KPT Collaborative is a zero-tolerance space for harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind.
- We foster a culture of consent, kindness, and accountability. If a situation feels uncomfortable, speak up or reach out to staff.
- Confidential support is available for conflict resolution or concerns. We take all reports seriously.
4. Security & Access
- Day Pass users and guests must check in upon arrival. No unregistered visitors are permitted.
- Personal belongings should be kept secure. KPT Collaborative is not liable for lost or stolen items.
- Surveillance cameras monitor shared areas for safety and accountability.
5. Emergency Protocols
- In case of fire, medical emergency, or severe weather, follow posted instructions and staff guidance.
- Emergency contacts and procedures are listed near all exits and in the member handbook.
We’re committed to creating a space where people feel safe, seen, and supported.
If you have questions, feedback, or ideas to improve our safety practices, we’re listening.
